Dane :debian: :openbsd:<a href="https://mastodon.social/@krishnadraws" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@krishnadraws</a>I haven't used it with Dropbox, but <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/InSync" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#InSync</a> (<a href="https://www.insynchq.com/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank">https://www.insynchq.com/</a>) does a great job with Google Drive syncing, being faster than even the official Google Drive app (Linux performance compared to the windows google drive app)It does support dropbox, though. And you pay once per account you sync with (can use it on any number of machines, last I checked). It's not open source, though.... 1/2

Carlos EcheniqueAaaaannnd I’m back on <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/nixos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#nixos</a> on my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/framework" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#framework</a> laptop. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/bluefin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bluefin</a> was fine but I could not run the cloud drive software I wanted to use (Expandrive) as it would install but then have issues mounting the drives. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/rclone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rclone</a> was a hot mess and I had to run <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/syncthing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#syncthing</a> in a container. Solution to my cloud storage issue? Clean out the cruft and get them back down in size. Then use the regular sync clients ( <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/nextcloud" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#nextcloud</a> desktop + <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/insync" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#insync</a> for the rest).

It hasn't worked properly with Google Drive in ages, authentication is broken.Hilariously stupid that Google Drive doesn't support Linux natively, they have tons of desktop Linux use inside Google.I love supporting underdogs like Insync, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.
