Went to the temple of capitalism and acquired two bedrolls. They are Jysk F30 because Ikea ones were comfy in the shop but had catastrophic reviews (dimensions wrong, foam laid through in 2 years). These were comfy with good reviews.

They were a little more despite a "70% off" sale, but have a 25 year warranty, which suggests they may last a while.

Will have to build a frame. Meanwhile we also have two airbeds as temporary solution :)

Two tightly compressed foam mattresses rolled up in strong plastic wrap, just fitting in the back of a car.
