If you ever find yourself at the Everline Resort (formerly Squaw Valley) in North #LakeTahoe, you need to dine at the "Six Peaks Grille".
I'm a connoisseur of #seafood business dinners & their "Hamachi Crudo" & "Pan-Seared Scallops" are stunningly good. I'd eat here again tomorrow if I could.
Of Spain’s many exceptional towns and cities, Madrid is the most tragically ordinary.
In any other country, Madrid would be a must-see city. But in Spain, it’s just a meh one.

By the time I noticed that the sun was setting I had to rush to get my gear together and set up on this dock in South Lake.

"In the shallows of south Lake Tahoe, diver Brandon Berry is slurping up clouds of algae with an underwater vacuum cleaner. . . The filamentous, cotton-candy-like algae is a persistent affliction here, where it intermittently grows, dies, washes up on the shoreline, and rots in unsightly, smelly piles." —Sonya Bennett-Brandt for Bay Nature magazine

Some photos from the hike today too. It was a lot of fun, but was also a new trail to us, and once the sun went down was kinda hard to follow. We made it alright, but the second half involved a bit of boulder climbing, which I could have done without.
