Inspired by articles in the bulletins of the @britishlichensociety.org.uk I surveyed our car and found #lichen in the rubber gasket. Maybe of the genus Carloplaca?

On yesterdays excursion I was shown (a lot) of lichens I did not previously know - and we discovered a shared love for the not so photogenic #lichen. Here Agonimia tristicula - in its typical habitat growing on moss over calcareous rock.
