#QuestionOfTheDay what's an obscure/indie/forgotten gem that you want to talk about? talk about it!
you can respond to this question multiple times to talk about many things if you want!

#QuestionOfTheDay: What's the middle child of a franchise/series that you like? By middle child I mean like not the ones people love and remember but not the black sheeps either that are cult classics or make "underrated" lists. Like the ones that get forgotten and get no discourse.
Singin' In The Rain
Eden Court Theatre, #Inverness.
29/3/25
Fabulous production of SITR from the amateur company, Inverness Musical Theatre. Saturday night was the final night, and it was a handful of seats short of a full-house.
The production was very faithful to the 1952 movie of the same name. Both the singing and the dancing was of a very high calibre, and one could tell the cast were enjoying the experience, too.
#QuestionOfTheDay who are your top 5 favorite animal/creature companions in fiction?
Bonus if you give why

Pitching a 4 hour long musical odyssey about the career of Spalding Gray called "Middle Class Neurosis"
#QuestionOfTheDay follow up question, make up a fake group chat you absolutely would not want to be accidentally added into because of what you'd probably read/see/get tmi about.
(examples of what I mean by making up a fake group chat: "isekai busty elf group chat", "tsundere anime girl group chat", "Star Trek captains group chat", "fantasy villains group chat", "Roman emperors group chat", "famous scientists with the first name that start with D" group chat, etc, whatever you want, go nuts.

#QuestionOfTheDay for no particular reason, make up a fake group chat that you'd want to be accidentally added to.
(examples: "isekai busty elf group chat", "tsundere anime girl group chat", "Star Trek captains group chat", "fantasy villains group chat", "Roman emperors group chat", "famous scientists with the first name that start with D" group chat, etc, whatever you want, go nuts.
Follow-up #QuestionOfTheDay what's a work that you think is underrated/overlooked because of who made it/the series or franchise it was packaged under/the company that released it/etc?
For example, a game made by a company famous for action games that was not an action game so people tuned it out or dismissed it, or a song that's very different from the expected style of a musician, a movie released under a franchise that was a good movie but did not fit the franchise, etc
I woke up with the same song in my head as yesterday. Not sure how the original Broadway cast recording of Wicked got in there, but it has.
Singer is in a hurry and turns around
Sarah Brightman walks the city streets. Asphalt. Spring. She should to be in a hurry for a record. And, so, it is a city. Showcase of stores. Everything is so bright and interesting. You, walk the same street. To buy a cartridge for Nes or gamepad. And Sarah Brightman in a hurry for soundrecord
#QuestionOfTheDay what's a work that you think is underrated/overlooked because of when it came out? (for example, it came out right between 2 major releases and got overlooked, or right after or right before the much more successful thing that redefined the genre it is in, or it came out when the genre/topic/style was out of fashion or it came out before the genre/topic/style got hot, etc)
If I were a rich man
Ya ba dibba dibba dibba dibba dibba dibba dum
All day long, I'd biddy biddy bum
If I were a wealthy man
I wouldn't have to work hard
Ya ba dibba dibba dibba dibba dibba dibba dum
If I were a biddy biddy rich yidle-diddle-didle-didle man

I dunno, I had been thinking about Fiddler on the Roof lately. So, I decided to do my best Tevye impression and dance while singing "If I Were a Rich Man" in a barn.
What?
So, that was Michaelangelo... With a detour into what sexuality may have been/meant in the Renaissance he inhabited...
Now 400+ pages in and we hit an "Interlude" which I shall use to head to the shop for some food...
Tonight, #Gladiators is back in it's earlier slot again (17:50) followed by Big Night of #Musicals 2025 and then I am leaning towards O'Dessa to top my evening...
I love weird ranked lists, whether it's the BAFTA list of the "most iconic video game characters of all time" (https://www.bafta.org/media-centre/press-releases/lara-croft-crowned-most-iconic-video-games-character-of-all-time-according-to-bafta-poll) that had Sackboy 5 ahead of Pikachu and Pac-Man, and the guy from RDR2 and 2 characters from the just released Baldur's Gate 3 on it, or the IGN list (https://www.ign.com/articles/the-best-100-video-games-of-all-time) that was heavily Nintendo at the top and had FF7 at 97 and it was clear that the people making the list didn't really play sports games or JRPGs because there were so few
So the #QuestionOfTheDay is what's a memorable weird/terrible top X list (from any topic) that you remember and want to share? What's weird/terrible about the choices?

Moody Blues was my favorite band as a tween and this soundtrack (while only involving Justin) shook my world as an early adolescent. I still love it even in my 60s.
#QuestionOfTheDay if you had to be roommates with a fictional archvillain, who would you choose?
(Define archvillain as a major villain, chief villain, leader, etc whoever you would see as one of the "main" villains in something and not merely a minion or lieutenant, if they're primarily the villain of a story despite working for a greater evil they can still count for the purposes of this question (Shredder, Sauron, Moff Tarkin, etc), my intent is just for people not to pick like Iago from Aladdin or something)
Y'know, say what you want about the plot of Love Never Dies (valid), but you can't deny that a lot of the songs slap hard. Beneath the moonless sky far surpasses Point of no return. Devil take the hindmost is delicious, and Ben Lewis is perfection in that song.
