A question about #Overcast, the app I use for #podcast listening.
When I add episodes to a custom playlist, some of them disappear right after. Say I add 5 episodes (via i —> Add to [list]), then they appear in the list. When I go somewhere else in the app & go back to the list, about 2 out of 5 episodes are just gone!
This happens even when I download them, and regardless of length. (Just now 2x20 minutes vanished.)
Why does that happen? Why do my playlists get shortened? It’s super annoying.

I've been holding off migrating to the new iOS Overcast podcast app because of all the problems and design issues I've read about. It's gone through multiple revisions, so maybe it's OK now. But now that Marco Arment, the developer, has bought a restaurant that's gotta be a full-time job, is the Nov 20, 2024 app update the last we can expect to see?

Should I stay on the old Overcast, switch to the new Overcast or go back to Downcast?

I've recently decided to change the app I used for listening to podcasts, now I'm using #Overcast and I'm quite happy with that. Now it works much better than it used to, the app is fully accessible with VoiceOver and Customisable, it does what it should to do. And when I setup some shortcuts I can use with Siri it's great. I previously used Pocket Casts, but it has some accessibility issues. #Blind #Accessibility
