Xerxes<p>Does anyone know how to fix double input when pressing the arrow keys in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/freedos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>freedos</span></a> 1.4 on <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/qemu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>qemu</span></a> ? I've tried the command line option "fix" -global i8042.kbd_throttle=on but some programs (lynx, nethack) still read my arrow keys as pressing exactly twice instead of once. I'm using Gentoo.</p><p>I really want to give FreeDOS a serious try and give some dev on it a shot but this is a bit of a dealbreaker. I'm open to trying other virtual machines that don't require KVM/hardware virtualization.</p>
