Petition to have it so Blackmagic Design has Linux users pay separately for AAC audio codec support as an add-on to Resolve Studio so at least there's a way for Linux users to have all the codecs easily if they want them and make it so the cost doesn't have to increase for anyone else. This doesn't excuse patents existing, in this case patents for math, I just want easy AAC usage.

This #BandcampFriday I get the album "Human (Extended Cut)" by #Resolve.

I saw the band as a supporting act this year for the first time. They play some in-between of #progressive #metalcore and #PostHardcore, with a lot of melody but also some on-the-nose parts.

For melodic, check out this song from their first album: arisingempire.bandcamp.com/tra

And for 💥 this one featuring 2 other deathcore/ metalcore vocalists: arisingempire.bandcamp.com/tra

@bicmay

( #HighlyEducated ) #workers ??

Isn't that #code for #SuperSmart #Indispensable and #HighDemand ??

Or, in other words,

#physicists #scientists & #surgeons ??

I'll go out on a limb and say that they'd rather #work for their #home #countries #strengthening their #communities #resolve rather than for a #fascist #socioPath looking to put #collars around #shiny #SmartPeople to #harness the full #potential of the #DeathStar

They may never be allowed to leave!

- geeignete Hardware
- mobiler Schnitt
- best practise Bildbearbeitung
- Tipps und Tricks

Postet doch hier Eure Hinweise unter #DaVinciResolve

I'm finally able to run DaVinci Resolve 19 with a dedicated #Intel #ARC #GPU on my #Debian. It required various latest Intel compute libraries from Intel's github to get it working (v24.39+), and some Resolve libraries removed from its folder (so it'd pickup the system libs instead). #Blender needed one additional Intel package to get going too. Overall, an hour spent figuring it out, but I now have acceleration.
