@Sheril We need to be a bit more ambitious. Senator Bill Cassidy, from Louisiana was a medical doctor before joining the Senate. He voted to confirm RFK Jr. We need either intelligent scientists, or scientists without kompromat. I don't know what the situation was in Cassidy's case, but it is inexplicable and indefensible.

#Grassley has been in the #Senate for 44 years. He must have a boatload of cred from his GOP colleagues. He could make a difference in any one of these issues: #tariffs #deportations #separationofpowers #ruleoflaw.
If he won’t use his accumulated powers in this situation, there is no reason for #Iowa to keep electing him.

The House passed it last session, but it never made it to the Senate — now they’re bringing it back in an attempt to restrict access to the ballot. The Silencing Americans Act (H.R. 22 and S. 128) would require every voter to show proof of citizenship, like a passport or original birth certificate, when registering to vote in federal elections.
