I had a pair of first sightings over the weekend, it started on Saturday with my first Tawny owl asleep at the entrance of its box. Followed up Sunday with seeing my first Skylark, barely visible in the grassy meadow.

The photos are basic but it was great seeing them, we both looked at each other so excited when we saw them.

🇦🇹 Bei meinem letzten Ausflug in den Nationalpark Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel letzten Mittwoch hab ich auch sehr viele Hauben-/Feldlerchen gesehen. Diese hier sind entlang des Rundwanderweges um die "Lange Lacke" entstanden.

🇬🇧 On my last trip to the Neusiedlersee-Seewinkel National Park last Wednesday I also saw a lot of (crested) skylarks. These pictures were taken along the hiking trail around “Lange Lacke” (a large pond).
