Great tit
I had already taken some pictures of great tits and chaffinches. That's why I was looking for a special background. I noticed this incidence of light on a young tree. So I pointed the camera there and waited for a bird to land. At first, the birds always landed facing the wrong way, but after a long wait, they finally landed in the right position. This is a photo of it.
The Great Tit (Parus major) belongs to the family of tits and is the most common tit in Europe. It grows up to 15 cm tall, has a wingspan of up to 23 cm and has a very varied diet (e.g. insects, larvae, nuts). Male great tits have a continuous black stripe on their belly and neck. These are broken in females.


Kohlmeise
Ich hatte schon einige Bilder von Kohlmeisen und Buchfinken geknipst. Deswegen habe ich nach einen besonderen Hintergrund gesucht. Mir ist da dieser Lichteinfall mit einem jungen Baum aufgefallen. Also habe ich die Kamera dahin ausgerichtet und gewartet, bis ein Vogel dort landet. Erst sind die Vögel immer mit der falschen Blickrichtung gelandet, aber nach langen warten auch mal in passender Position. Das ist ein Foto davon.
Die Kohlmeise (Parus major) gehört zur Familie der Meisen und ist die häufigste Meise Europas. Sie wird bis zu 15 cm groß hat eine Spannweite von bis zu 23 cm und ernährt sich sehr vielseitig (z.B. Insekten, Larven, Nussfrüchte). Männliche Kohlmeisen haben einen durchgehenden schwarzen Streifen am Bauch und am Hals. Bei Weibchen sind diese unterbrochen.

Eurasian Jay

My first great egret
I had seen great egrets before and photographed them 3-4 times. But the photos were just to show that I had seen some.
The Great White Egret (Ardea Alba) grows up to 100 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 170 cm. It feeds mainly on amphibians, fish and aquatic insects.


mein erster Silberreiher
Ich hatte schon öfter mal Silberreiher gesehen und auch 3-4 mal fotografiert. Nur waren das eher „Beweißfotos“. Jetzt konnte ich mal einen etwas besser ablichten.
Der Silberreiher (Ardea Alba) wird bis zu 100 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 170 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Amphibien, Fischen und Wasserinsekten. Silberreiher sind in Deutschland vor allem Durchzügler, aber es gibt zunehmend Exemplare mit festen Standort.

The Nile Goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) grows up to 73 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 135 cm. Its diet includes grasses, seeds and leaves. The Nile Goose was originally native to most of Africa, but due to escaped gooses from farms, they are also native to Europe.

The white sturgeon (Ciconia ciconia) grows up to 110 cm long and has a wingspan of up to 220 cm. Its diet includes insects, amphibians and mice. Nicknamed the rattling stork, the white stork is one of the most studied birds in Germany.

Auch unter den Spitzname Klapperstorch ist der Weißstorch einer der besterforschten Vögel Deutschlands. Nebenbei ziert er das Logo des NABU. Es ist Vogel des Jahres 1984 und 1994.

Hawfinch
The Hawfinch (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) grows up to 18 cm long and has a wingspan of up to 33 cm. This makes it the largest finch in Germany. Its powerful beak can exert up to 50 kg of pressure, allowing it to easily crack open its food, which includes seeds, insects and cherry stones. The hawfinch is usually found in the treetops.


Kernbeißer
Der Kernbeißer (Coccothraustes coccothraustes) wird bis zu 18 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 33 cm. Damit ist er die größte Finkenart in Deutschland. Sein kräftiger Schnabel kann einen Druck von bis zu 50 KG! aufbauen, somit kann er seine Nahrung, die u.a. aus Sämereien, Insekten und Kirschkernen besteht, locker knacken. Zumeist ist der Kernbeißer in den Baumwipfeln unterwegs.

Young moose
In the meantime, I would say I've evolved and wouldn't post this photo because of the way it looks. But I've always wanted to photograph a moose and the experience outweighs everything else.
The moose (Alces alces) can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 800 kg, making it the largest deer species in the world. It can be found in Asia, Europe and North America. Its diet includes tree shoots and water plants. Moose can also swim (and are sometimes "snacked" by orcas as a result).


Elch Jungtier
Mittlerweile, würde ich behaupten, hab ich mich weiter entwickelt und würde dieses Foto wegen dem Look gar nicht posten. Aber ich wollte schon immer mal einen Elch fotografieren und da überwiegt dann doch das Erlebnis.
Der Elch (Alces alces) wir bis zu 3 Meter lang und bis 800 kg schwer und ist damit die größte Hirschart der Welt. Er kommt in Asien, Europa und Nordamerika vor. Er ernährt sich u.a. von Baumtrieben und Wasserpflanzen. Der Elch kann auch schwimmen (und werden dadurch manchmal von Orkas „gesnackt“)

Finally I was able to photograph a kingfisher. I really like the colours of this "diamond".
The kingfisher (Alcedo atthis) grows up to 19.5 cm and has a wingspan of up to 25 cm. It feeds mainly on fish, but also on insects and tadpoles.

Endlich konnte ich mal einen Eisvogel fotografieren. Ich mag die Farben von diesem „Diamanten“ sehr und den englischen Namen „Königfischer“.

Der Eisvogel (Alcedo atthis) wird bis zu 19,5 cm groß und bekommt eine Spannweite von bis zu 25 cm. Er ernährt sich vor allem von Fischen, aber auch von Insekten und Kaulquappen. 1973 und 2009 war der Eisvogel in Deutschland Vogel des Jahres.

Cuckoo
I was chasing a kestrel, which led me to this cuckoo. Since it was sitting, I just took it with me. I was able to photograph kestrels for the next two days.
The Cuckoo (Cuculus canorus) grows up to 36 cm tall and has a wingspan of up to 60 cm. Its diet includes insects, spiders and earthworms.

Ich war hinter einen Turmfalken her, der mich dann zu diesen Kuckuck führte. Da dieser saß, hab ich dann halt den mitgenommen. Turmfalken konnte ich dann noch die nächsten beiden Tage fotografieren.
