6 Australian universities have quietly closed Chinese government-linked Confucius Institutes on their campuses.

The Australian government has ramped up scrutiny on the education centres over concerns that Beijing is using them to spread propaganda and spy on Chinese international students.

I think Ateneo de Manila hosts a Confucius Institute.

How a Bulgarian cleaning lady became a Russian spy.

Many people believed that Tsvetanka D., a Bulgarian national living in Vienna, was leading a very normal life.

Nothing could have been further from the truth: this former cleaning lady was in fact a Russian spy.

Spycop HN85 Roger Pearce 'Roger Thorley' infiltrated anarchist groups 1979-84. He gave evidence to the spycops public inquiry in July 2024. The Inquiry hasn't posted video of him being questioned on its YouTube channel, so we've posted it on ours.

Thorley wrote anti-police articles while undercover. Afterwards he became a Special Branch manager before retiring in 2003 to write awful novels.

This now banned dragnet surveillance tactic was used to great effect in Seattle for the most petty of reasons.... there was a protest at the Police Union building.

Little to no property damage or other harm was reported (other than the cops beating ppl of course) none the less the fucking FBI built a case entirely on dragnet phone spying tools fit for a Tom Clancy novel.
