JoolsT’is a sad day today. I’ve cancelled my subscription to Empire Magazine 🎬Shame. I’ve been a subscriber for years and it feels like the end of an era. 😢 I don’t get the time to really read and enjoy it and another £50 was about to leave my bank account. What's a fun name?Since I'm a few hours from the end of this week, I want to mention what I've done so far to <a href="https://toot.community/tags/reclaim" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#reclaim</a> my <a href="https://toot.community/tags/digital" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#digital</a> life & protect my <a href="https://toot.community/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#privacy</a>: Use <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Mullvad" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Mullvad</a> <a href="https://toot.community/tags/VPN" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#VPN</a>. Downloaded all my files from <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Google</a> <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Photos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Photos</a>, deleted everything from said service (& <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Onedrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Onedrive</a> for the matter), cancelled my Google One <a href="https://toot.community/tags/subscription" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#subscription</a>. I installed my own <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Joplin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Joplin</a> <a href="https://toot.community/tags/server" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#server</a> for my notes. Switched to <a href="https://toot.community/tags/DuckDuckGo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#DuckDuckGo</a> but simultaneously, testing <a href="https://toot.community/tags/Searx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Searx</a> <a href="https://toot.community/tags/instances" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#instances</a>.
