A surgeon in Queensland, Australia, was fined $10,000 for taking and sharing a photograph of a patient’s penis. The penis was remarkable for having a swastika tattooed on it and being attached to a patient injured when a bomb he was constructing went off. The man was placed in intensive care where he was intubated and placed in a coma for a week

Twitter gegen Kontrafunk - ein ethisches Dilemma?

Ich gestehe: ich verstehe die Welt nicht mehr!

Vor bald drei Jahren fragte mich ein Bekannter, ob er mich in seiner Sendung auf "Kontrafunk" interviewen dürfe. (Sowas passiert, wenn man privat auch Kontakt mit politisch andersdenkenden Menschen pflegt, weil man gewisse Qualitäten an ihnen schätzt.) Ich lehnte freundlich ab, denn wie hätte ich den Interview-Podcast teilen können, ohne für diesen #AfD-nahen Kanal zu werben?
Und will ich, daß eine Online-Suche nach meinem Namen dort endet? Dann engagieren mich künftig nur noch #neurechte #Kultursalons für #Konzerte ...

In den letzten Wochen beobachte ich aber, daß beinahe all meinen Mitmenschen die Vernetzung mit neurechten Medien völlig egal zu sein scheint. Nach wie vor tummeln sich sämtliche bekennenden #Linken und #Grünen, (z.B. die #Bundestagskandidaten, über die ich mich vor der letzten Wahl informierte) im Meinungsforum von #Trump s Chefberater. Und ich befürchte, das würde auch so bleiben, wenn dieser das X gegen eine #Swastika austauschen würde; ein römischer Gruß genügte nicht. Ich selber habe #"Facebook" schon aus geringerem Anlass verlassen.

Ich muss also einsehen, daß ich mit meiner Ansicht auf dem Holzweg war:
#Kontaktschuld, wie ich sie ja quasi befürchtete, gibt es gar nicht! Selbst Wolodymyr #Selenskyj, vor dem ich größten Respekt habe, nutzt #Twitter!

Der Sumpf der Social Media war mir stets suspekt (allem voran das #Mikroblogging), aber auch ich benötige als Künstler eine gewisse #Reichweite. Ist es – aus ethischer Sicht – nicht einerlei, ob man diese über "Twitter"-Posts oder ein "Kontrafunk"-Interview erzielt?

Wird das hier irgendwo diskutiert?

Oder: Wer erklärt mir die Welt?

"In the opening weeks of Donald #Trump’s second presidency, some of the fiercest expressions of defiance have come from the communities that Trump is threatening to attack. In Los Angeles, students have engaged in weeks of walkouts and other protests against the mass deportations Trump promised. In #Cincinnati, the historically Black community #LincolnHeights responded to a #NeoNazi rally by chasing off the #WhiteSupremacists, burning their #swastika flags, and conducting an armed watch lest they attempt to return.

"Both of these communities draw on deep roots of resistance. The students in Los Angeles are walking out in the footsteps of previous student rebels, including those who participated in the historic protests of 2006 against the repression of the undocumented. People in Cincinnati rose in rebellion in 2001 against police violence, foreshadowing the movement that got underway in response to the murder of Oscar Grant in 2008 and arrived on the world stage in 2014 with the uprising in #Ferguson. In continuing these legacies, today’s protesters show how difficult it will be for Donald Trump, #ElonMusk, and other #racist #billionaires to control the population of this continent. They also point the way for others who are still trying to figure out how to defend themselves against the new regime.

A TV ad that aired during the #SuperBowl in several major cities directed viewers to a website…selling only one item: a T-shirt emblazoned w/nothing but a #swastika.

The ad, which aired in major local TV markets…featured what…a selfie video of… #KanyeWest …in a dentist’s chair w/a mouth full of bejeweled teeth. After explaining that he spent all the money for the ad on his teeth & had to shoot the ad w/an iPhone, he said, “Go to Yeezy.com.”

I usually only complain about Kanye getting coverage. You know, instead of people with actual power. But he's got twice as many social media followers than there are Jews on earth and now he's running superbowl ads for nazi shirts. Sooo...

Following the link took viewers to his merch website where only one thing was for sale: a t-shirt emblazoned with a #swastika. As of this writing, it appears to still be available.

As noted, the offensive shirt move comes just days after #West ranted on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “I love #Hitler” and “I’m a #Nazi.” He also wrote, “I don’t even know what the fuck #antiSemitic means. It’s just some bullshit #Jewish people made up to protect their bullshit.”

#Ye went on to state that “all white people are #racist,” and then added, “Jewish people actually hate white people and use black people.” His account has since been deactivated."
