Installed "Space Cadet" yesterday on my virtual pinball machine. I like the music, the sound setting, the gameplay and the polished graphics.
Virtual pinball maintenance! Do I regret having to mount the amps in the rear? Maybe... But I ran out of room. And it's been a year since I've needed to mess with them.
I didn't think it was possible for someone to improve on Space Cadet... But man this new table is awesome. Galaxy Edition.
Ok this one is pretty cool. It's gimmicky and makes me smile.
Spent the entire day working on audio mixing for Lilypad Library, so now that all of the audio is in place I gave myself some time to play some virtual #Pinball Finally achieved the Lost in the Zone wizard mode on Twilight Zone! Feels good :)
Hopefully I can get some help from the #electronics enthusiasts out there...
For my #virtualpinball build, I want to try and hide the 3 power supplies for the various leds, control boards and toys by mounting it on the rear of the cabinet in a box.
But to make it easier to maintain/rewire as necessary, I'd like to make the connectors quick disconnect.
I just don't know if there's an existing module that exists that will take 1-3 outputs/grounds and break it out into multiple quick-disconnect sockets, each having a latch of some form. A keyed shape would be a nice bonus. Sockets would need to handle at least 5ish amps instantaneously.
Does something like this exist, and what can I search for to find it?
In other hobby news - my #virtualpinball setup is giving me some hassles. I really want to get Addams Family to work correctly (other tables are working great), but holy crap these graphics look like ass. I wonder what i'm doing wrong.
Another cool release from the other day - Nightmare before Christmas based on the Godzilla layout.
I got to the world cup and lost! I couldn't get control of the ball in the last minute and only got 1 goal... . But I ended up at 1.6b so it's a bit respectable. Love this game.
My game choices are heavily influenced by Mastodon. This is the most brutal game I've played.
Quite a beautiful version of Warlok was released recently for #visualpinball. Incredibly fun table!
I actually kind of liked Iron Man. I spent a good amount of time playing it. I actually loved the sounds in the game more than anything.
Not sure what I did, but it flashed "You win" and I got the Mega Score . Very fun game!
