Man, #ÖRR! Die Sendung #quer im #BR hat das Thema " #Windows11 produziert unnötig #Elektroschrott " thematisiert. Als es dann mal um mögliche Alternativen ging, wurde obwohl man sogar @CCC zum Interview geladen hatte, wieder das Klischee von " #Linux ist nur für Bastler " wiederholt. Und ich bin es langsam echt Leid... Ich habe in meinem Umfeld so viele Leute, die mit ihrem @linuxmint seit Jahren problemlos unterwegs sind ohne Bastler zu sein... Passt nicht für alle, aber mehr als man annimmt!

I think #onedrive is a great example of where #windows11 stops being customer-centric.

I have no qualms with OneDrive, but when I say "I don't want to use your cloud. I'll manage my own, TYVM!".

Don't silently and transparently leave all my visible folders (Like the Documents icon in the sidebar) redirected to the now dead OneDrive folder!

Add a wizard to automate putting things back where they should go.

Now I've got TWO Documents folders, but that fact is hidden from me in really non obvious ways.

And you can TOTALLY see what comes next for the un-initiated "Well, you should have just used OneDrive after all!".

Maybe you should, because Windows, much like the entire Apple Mac experience, is Omakase, but it shouldn't have to be this way.
