What a great day of community building at the 9th Annual #Boston Winter Walk!

At a time when homelessness is increasing across America, Winter Walk believes that ending #homelessness is within our reach – and it starts with ending stigma.

Good morning tooters. It is very foggy outside, I can’t see my favourite big eucalyptus tree, I can barely see the neighbours fence! I love the eeriness of it. Heading to 14c again & once the fog lifts there’ll be some sun apparently .
Seeing as it’s a public holiday it’s a day off from going to the gym for me, that’s my excuse anyway because I want to go for a walk instead. It’s kind of nice walking in weather like this, not many other people around for one but it feels different out there too. I like it.

I am super tired tonight. I said in my morning post that I’d be taking a walk but didn’t expect it to be quite like it was. I decided to check out more of the new track the council have opened up. It’s not exactly signposted & got turned around a few times as tracks seemed to go off in unexpected directions. Finally I decided it would be smarter to turn around & just go back the way I came, which I did. Instead of a 5-6km walk I ended up doing 11.75km of which the last km was done very slowly as my knees were complaining. Still I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, appreciate it more now that I’ve rested & will do it again. I found an awesome grassy spot that had a beach & old jetty posts across the creek. Legs & feet feel ok now, but knees are still a little stiff but I am proud of myself . #Exercise #KeepMoving #WinterWalk #StillHealing
