To any folks on the a2mi instance (or in #annarbor or #ypsilanti / #ypsi) , given the recent discussions (some serious, some less so, some wishcasting) on exploring the idea of a "community hobbyist space" of some sort, I've created a mailing list to make these discussions easier to follow, because, uh, to be honest, Mastodon's threading in group conversations is a geneva convention violation.

My first show was nerve wracking and exhilarating in equal measure. My rehearsing beforehand collapsed almost immediately so I did what I always do in front of my synth - improvise. 30 minute set, and sharing the same billing as blokes who have songs in Severance. Not bad for a first time.

I'll probably do it again.

Found some new-to-me murals in an alley on the far side of town this evening, while rambling to kill time during my kid's scout meeting.

Worth the wet feet--that alley was soggy.
