HeidiIn today's Baking class we made cinnamon rolls. I admit- I cheated & ate half of one. They're freaking delicious. I use a <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Fitbit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Fitbit</a> fitness tracker, and that hasn't gotten a sensor quality update or a new one in years. Instead, <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Google" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Google</a> in particular has made the app noticably (without exaggerating) worse, and it supposedly gets most of the smarts from the main compute which now sucks.Not the most compelling enticement for an new device.

Festering FerretThe biggest problem I have with Fitbit is that it doesn't register light exercise as being good for you. It rates my fitness as being fair to average, and recognises when I spend more than 10 minutes walking - but it doesn't include it as being officially good for my health.As this fitness rating is the result of light exercise, and the thought of adjusting my schedule to include anything more vigorous sends me fainting into the shrubbery (metaphorically speaking), I am going to have to ignore what Fitbit has to say about my exercise.I never had this problem with Google Fit - but Fit got back burnered in October (apparently) and has therefore got one foot in the grave. SergiI'm so pissed right now. I've had 2 Fitbits and 1 Pixel Watch, and they have all failed shortly after the US warranty (1 year) expired..It's so frustrating. Even my walk to the shops was considered "overtraining". So as part of this experiment, I stopped treadmill & evening walks until it said to.Now it's telling me I'm undertraining & to do a 60-90 minute run today. Dude, it is literally 44 degrees, I'm not doing that.
