The documentary, directed by exiled Iranian filmmaker Sepideh Farsi, had been selected for the Cannes Film Festival.</p><p>Hassona, a graduate of the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza, documented the realities of life in Gaza through her photography. Hours before her death, she posted a photo of the sunset, and in a previous post, she expressed her desire for a "loud death" that would leave a lasting trace and immortal images.</p><p>The International Federation of Journalists (<a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/IFJ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IFJ</span></a>) estimates that at least 157 journalists and media workers have been killed since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza.
