Hey, if you’re using #Ivory app and you swipe up or down with two fingies, you change the highlight colour of the buttons, hashtags and links.

Small thing, but I thought it was neat.

@theropologist No one has answered yet and it's been hours. Not a problem, but by commenting here it sorta boosts my post. Right at the moment I am NOT having the problem of having Home view posts not advancing, but it's been hours till now it was kind of frozen in place. I really wonder if this is an #Ivory problem.

Wondering if it’s an #Ivory problem on iPhone or a problem with the Instance. Been watching over a week and I can’t tell. Sooo tagged for @theropologist as well. If I use my usual icon on Home Screen to open Ivory which is set to beige.party, I can get a count of how many more items are ready above the top one I’m reading in my home view. I have to tap top of my iPhone display to force these to show up. I have set the view to be slow mode view because not doing that is insanely fast and it’s hard to get back to a post I wanted to read.

But after about 3 such attempts, and clicking into my Notifications view, I can no longer get the posts in my Home view to advance. No similar problem for view on Fediverse, Local, notifications, Explore, hashtag search, List view etc. Ideas? I do notice this happens mostly 10 am to 6 pm US Mountain time. We have a small Instance and mostly USians on it.

Has anyone been able to get Apple’s driving focus to disallow certain app notifications on your Watch? On my iPhone 13, it only seems to allow or block based on person. And in the Watch app, the only focus-related setting is to mirror the iPhone.

I’d like to suppress Ivory notifications on my Watch, but only when actually driving.

I've read so much about the death of Fediverse and Mastodon because it isn't "commercially viable".

Creators of Ice Cubes and Ivory are switching to Bluesky for the financial reasons.

What are your thoughts on this topic? If it was for me, an Android user who never got access to these (great) apps, the Fediverse wasn't even alive 🤣

Let my @ivory subscription expire on March 1. After using other #Mastodon apps, I might have to reconsider. We also got an update after ~5 months w/ more to come while they work on #Phoenix for #Bluesky.

"Once Phoenix is out the door, development will happen concurrently and both apps will get all the huge improvements we have planned throughout the apps. And we still have a huge list of great improvements that need to come to #Ivory (and as a result, also Phoenix)."
