Catherine // Iceland Travel&📸Kerið Crater is a relatively young volcanic formation, estimated to be around 3,000 to 6,500 years old, in the South of Iceland.<br>
You can walk along the rim and also descend to the waterside at the bottom.<br>

Scientists believe it was once a cone-shaped volcano that emptied its magma chamber during an eruption. The subsequent collapse created the crater's current shape.<br>
