Astounding vol. 51, no. 3 (May 1953)
This is both ugly and incomprehensible, so yeah. I can't find anything to like here at all. Which I suppose makes it unique among all the thousands of images posted by this account?

The new issue of Worlds of IF Science Fiction is out. It features a beautiful cover art "Out of an Amber Sky" by Rodney Matthews. An essay with a Lovecraftian title: "From Deep Darkness Came Murmurs of Awakening", by yours truly. And much more.
Final Quality Check for BrewOtaku #005 Unfortunately, we had to raise the publication price. Print costs €2 extra, digital costs €1 extra. We initially had our calculation for 60 pages of content, but we are recently always beyond that.
Famous Fantastic Mysteries vol. 9, no. 5 (June 1948)
Wow, this is pretty wild. Lots of places in the UK are called "The Devil's Punchbowl" but this is very literal. He's going to eat the angel first and leave the regular humans with no wings for later?

Creepy no. 103 (1978)
“Animals breaking out from a travelling circus” was a staple of the pulp literature I read as a little kid, but I'm guessing their red eyes are an indication of something a bit more supernatural?

“That's right, Billy, these are the ships which will launch against the Russkies and precipitate a global nuclear apocalypse!”

I really like this one. Has he just appeared through a portal—that blue light—or is he about to explode? Either way the twin guys on either side of him are desperate to be elsewhere ASAP,

Two old friends talking about their jobs as, I'm guessing, space ship captains? They don't seem very happy, do they, despite the beers they're having. There's a clue in the story title but it just makes it more puzzling.

Okay, Westerners. Today I'm going to show you something special
In the late '10s, we had a popular children's magazine called Shrek's Adventures. The contents of the magazine were not as interesting as what was given as a gift with each issue. Namely - a metal amulet with the hero (some glowed and could change color from heating). And also a set of stickers. Some just shimmered, and some had different smells. these smelled like vomit, shit and etc.

I can't quite be sure what he's looking at here—some sort of forge/foundry in which a mechanical process is taking place? Maybe he's looking down at a fiery planet/sun? His expression does a lot of work here.
