@forteller @ueeu @DresdnerForschungswerk @murena @Fairphone Thanks! Yes, I've looked at #fairphone and #murena . Nice to see that there are options. Running android (I see fairphones can come with it preinstalled) would not be an option, but /e/OS looks interesting. How does it hold up #privacy wise compared to e.g. #GrapheneOS , #calyxos or #LineageOS ? Haven't tried any of those, just read about them. I see very polarised opinions when I search. Little balanced comparison. A plus that you can get a fairphone with /e/OS preinstalled, of course (It's me. I'm "moderately- or non-technical people").

Here is an example of the #AppLounge UI.
I love books, so I was searching for an app.
#BookLooker is a great place to purchase used books and gain access to a broad range of bookstores.

I was happy to see, that they meet 10/10 in the rating.

How the rating get into existence? #ExodusPrivacy is providing this.
The attached screenshot shows the rating in the AppLounge.

You can also look up their webpage through the app and check details.

Screenshot of the AppStore AppLounge from Murena, the search shows the title "Booklooker", which is an app for used and antiquarian books. Below of the title there is a 10 out of 10 for DataSecurity. Other apps following up as suggestions show a wide range of the rating, even one has none. Which can be requested through the app and it might take some time, but the ratings will be given ... Ratings are done by Exodus Privacy (a French non-profit organization). This organization is managed by hacktivists who want to protect privacy everywhere.

Je viens de switcher mon téléphone sur /e/ OS, en remplacement d'un lineageos4microg custom (oui la différence n'est pas énorme).
A part quelques petites surprises, genre l'impossibilité de désactiver certaines applis par défaut et certaines options trop cachées, c'est clairement un bon truc !
Mon prochain téléphone (l'actuel a 7 ans) sera un Murena !

Loving the Deezer #streaming audio app for Android (#Murena #FOSS fork). It imported all my playlists and recommends great songs by less popular, more indie artists. And I've found some #podcasts that AntennaPod #search algorithm never showed me after years of searching and listening. Good riddance #Spotify! Deezer is cheaper, more open, and just plain better.
