In der geringeren Seehöhe ist es aber wärmer und der Gletscher schmilzt noch schneller.Sehr gut kann man das derzeit an der österreichischen <a href="https://graz.social/tags/Pasterze" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Pasterze</a> sehen. Die Eisoberfläche an der Zunge ist zwischen 1969 und 2023 um 200 m gesunken.
