Maxwell Volume<p>Each afternoon you train baboons to sing<br>Or swim in purple perspex water wings<br>Come Saturday jump chopper, Chelsea brigade<br>Hard bender-trender<br>It's all indoor games<br><br>- "Indoor Games" <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/kingcrimson" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>KingCrimson</span></a><br><br>Vale <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/petersinfield" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PeterSinfield</span></a>. I'm absolutely certain that without the surreal, obscure, obtuse, odd & very endearing lyrics in the early Crimso albums, I wouldn't have become the massive enthusiast that I became. Pete's surrealism & humour were, like Daevid's in <a href="https://gotosoc.tryptophonic.com/tags/gong" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gong</span></a>, what elevated the bands from the prog trap of being self-important & beard-scatchingly serious. You can be sure I'll be playing Lizard at high volume later on today. Here's to you, Pete!</p>
