jello ツ<p>So… It seems save to say that something has *utterly* fucked my Pixel 9 Fold’s battery usage.<br>Unplugged it this morning at 7:45-ish and haven’t used it all that much more than usual, but it’s now at 20 % not even 12 hours later. When, on other days, I’m at 50 % still, 40 % on a busy day.</p><p>I noticed this over the weekend, too, but didn’t think much of it since I was actively using the phone… Only now, in retrospect, it’s clear that I didn’t use it *that* much more yesterday.</p><p>The hell? <a href="https://wehavecookies.social/tags/Pixel9" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pixel9</span></a></p>

:fedora: :freebsd: :archlinux:<p>So, I've managed to reduce my Pixel 9 with Graphene OS to the absolute minimum of necessary apps! Fewer apps, less battery consumption, less tracking.</p><p>I also deactivated all connections except for mobile communications, i.e. no NFC, no Bluetooth, no GPS, no permissions for the camera.</p><p>Now that I'm always sitting in front of my computer at home and have my ThinkPad with me when I'm out and about, I don't need a mail app, cloud connection or whatever on my smartphone, for example.
