The acting was superb, the scripts meaty, the science advising (nod to <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Scalzi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Scalzi</span></a>) top-notch, and the visuals utterly stunning and the first compelling case I ever saw for HDTV. </p><p>I was utterly sold by the brilliant (word-play intended) episode where the automated generation ship decided to refuel itself, in one of the best SFnal visual sequences EVER, underlined by one of the late, great Joel Goldsmith's best pieces of music.
