There's a lidl before the food street which is nice. Trains to Glasgow were reasonable, 2.40gbp for off peak return.
- i stayed at Premier inn. Few minutes walk to get to the main hotel, was very quiet, and had a Costa on-site :3
- not as many panels as I'd like, and panel rooms for the ones i attended/hosted were far too small (Orkney, 30ppl cap). Castle 3 could have been divided up for more space, one panel i attended at castle 3 had maybe 20ish ppl? That space can take a hundred easy.
- dealers den seems good sized, crowd control by con staff allows reasonable space to walk. Long lines but they moved reasonably quick on Monday (only time I got in)
- the food at crowne was surprisingly good. The bar service speed was hit and miss, I feel like they're understaffed and some times waited quite a while before I was attended to.
- elevators. I think i don't need to comment. I'm glad I stayed off site.
- might have to arrive a few more days early if i attend next (££££) - the jetlag was killer, I was still pretty out of it even on Sunday lol.
- surprise early reg was amazing! Got regged Wednesday night, took only a few minutes.
- no fursuit parade? Sadge :/
- overall I enjoyed it, would love to come again next year.
