Best #Linux distro for music?

I'll give it a go again and see what happens this time. Wasnt convinced 5+years ago it was worth it.

Currently downloading Ubuntu Studio (not expecting much) but what else is there that will run an audio interface, DAWs etc? Anything on Debian or Mint?

I like to use Krita, Inkscape and GIMP too from time to time.

Never quite clicked with the Bastl MIDI Looper before. I've had it a couple of years and its incidental features, such as this sort of ambient humanise, have kept it around the studio, but today it has really shone. I suspect some of the pad synths will need to be tactically assigned to different MIDI channels to get the most out of this guy.

Made up a 512 samples triangle sweep from 25hz to 19500hz in a 5 second file. Normalised to -0.5db. Whacked mp3 player to full volume (goes from 1-40 - 20 will blow your ears out) &it didnt seem to distort or clip the Behringer for some reason.

Turned off preamps & FX, started record and played the sweep through each of the 23 cab models. Then did the same through the ambience, reverb and delay. Havent edited yet so not sure how it turned out
