Wendy Palmer<p>The unethical treatment by the local tech guys of my mum’s elderly neighbour is something to behold.</p><p>She’s had trouble with her email, iiNet, which sold off their email service and it stopped working for her (probably because she hadn’t paid the new company due to drowning in spam).</p><p>Took it to a computer shop, charged her $110 to tell her nothing’s wrong.</p><p>I got her set up with a replacement email.</p><p>All worked fine for a while, then something happened and her email stopped downloading and she had password problems.</p><p>A second computer shop charged her $90 to tell her they’d fixed it (except they looked at it for 2 minutes and didn’t give her a new password or anything).</p><p>I sorted it out as much as I could.</p><p>Password problems started up again the next day. Matthew Whitaker<p>Hey y’all! How’s everyone doing? Hope all is well! 🙌🏽</p><p>Quick question for folks using **Google Drive** on iPhone and Mac: <br>If someone shares a folder with you, how do you get it to appear in the main section of Google Drive (like in "My Drive") and not just under "Shared with me"?</p><p>For example, on my Mac, I have Google Drive set up to show in Finder, but it only shows the *My Drive* folder—none of the shared ones—unless I use the web version. On the iPhone app, I only see shared folders in the *Shared* tab, unless I create a shortcut to that folder.</p><p>What do y’all think? Any tips or tricks?</p><p><a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/GoogleDrive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoogleDrive</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/iPhoneTips" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>iPhoneTips</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/MacTips" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacTips</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Accessibility" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Accessibility</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/BlindTech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BlindTech</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/TechHelp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TechHelp</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/FileManagement" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>FileManagement</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/VoiceOver" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VoiceOver</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/Apple" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Apple</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/MacOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MacOS</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/iOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>iOS</span></a> <a href="https://dragonscave.space/tags/GoogleDriveTips" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GoogleDriveTips</span></a></p>
