I have always considered myself an internationalist. Part of the joy of living in this world is experiencing the sheer variety of ways other people live. I don't always agree with them, but that doesn't mean my way of living is the only correct way. Exposure to other ways of living helps me better understand, and improve, my own. We all have something to learn, and we all have something to teach.
This was part of what drew me to the web, early on -- the sense that it was a community outside borders.
