That aspect really stood out for me.</p><p>Overall I still feel we have yet to see the full potential of the dynamic demo, when art and technical mastery come together in all aspects of the demo. Kristoffer Lawson<p>I did a quick comparison of how the <a href="https://attractive.space/tags/AltParty" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AltParty</span></a> was covered on multiple social media platforms and <a href="https://attractive.space/tags/Mastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mastodon</span></a> is the clear winner. Even if you dismiss my posts (and some orgs on other platforms), Mastodon still comes out on top. </p><p>It seems the hacker and digital arts communities have already really moved here.</p><p><a href="https://attractive.space/tags/BlueSky" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BlueSky</span></a> is second but only because of bridges. </p><p>I think that means we need to be more active with the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://altparty.social/@AltParty" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>AltParty</span></a></span> account if we organise more events.</p><p><a href="https://attractive.space/tags/demoscene" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>demoscene</span></a></p>

Everyone did a great job in bringing something wonderful back to life. I really hope there will be more to come.</p>

She was the runner of the previous iteration of the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://altparty.social/@AltParty" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>AltParty</span></a></span>. An amazing coincidence as she wasn’t even aware there was an Alt Party on. She lives in Berlin these days and just happened to be in Helsinki and just happened to decide, with her partner, to come and see the Museum of Technology. </p><p>The stars were truly aligned. Wow.</p>

vrtxd<p>Alt Party 2024 Jälkifiilistelyt</p><p>Piti jo lähteä matkoihini, mutta kiitti kaikille kivoista partyista! ❤️ Oli kiva tavata porukkaa demoskene-pikadeiteillä ja hacklab-ständillä. Jotenkin tuntuu, että koronavuodet on tehneet musta sosiaalisesti kömpelömmän, enkä oikein osannut ottaa kunnolla kontaktia kaikkiin niihin hyviin tyyppeihin, joita tuli tavattua, vaan tuli lähinnä vietettyä aikaa omalla koneella ja missattua paljon ohjelmasta. Se mitä näin oli tietenkin ihan timanttia. Joten nyt sitten edes jälkijunassa: moi oon Juho, saa laittaa yksäreitä ja linkkautua fedissä ja somessa, löytänette handlellani vrtxd.</p><p>Oma tausta on pelisuunnittelussa ja käyttöliittymämuotoilussa, ja yritän paraikaa navigoida omaa uraa jonkin sortin vihreiden digipalveluiden pariin, jotta jälkikasvullakin olis mahikset nörttiövereihin. Oon päivätyössä kestävyysmuotoilijana XR-museolla, ja mietin siellä mm. VR-laseille tuotetun historiallisen tilan digitoinnin hiilijalanjälkeä ja sosiaalisia vaikutuksia. Kehittelen niukalla vapaa-ajalla Godotilla huonekasvien ja puutarhan hoitamiseen keskittyvää, maaperän biogeokemiaa simuloivaa pelikonseptia (Earthen: Dirt Simulator). Demoskeneä oon pääasiassa lurkannut sivusta 20 vuotta ja ihaillut aina nostalgiaraudan arvostusta sekä kaikkia niitä kekseliäitä kikkoja, joilla saada laitteista aina vain kaikkea uutta irti.</p><p>Oon hiljalleen hokannut, että musta olis kiva tuottaa skeneen ja nähdä skenessä lisää solarpunkkia, eli rehdisti kantaa ottavia utopiavisioita kestävämmistä tulevaisuuksista . Niinpä oon kelaillut, josko saisin vaikka kotikaupunkiini Keravalle bygättyä paikallisesti jotain vihreän siirtymän mukaista hackerspace-yhteisötoimintaa. Voimavarat elää itse kullakin, mutta jos vastaavia ekohakkereita piisaa muuallakin, kenties voitais kokeilla yhdessä vaikka tehdä demo tai kirjoittaa jotain hajatelmia Skrolliin?
