Carol ChenYesterday during a friend's birthday picnic, someone noticed that the snack I brought (話梅, preserved plums) contains <a href="https://mastodon.org.uk/tags/amphetamine" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#amphetamine</a>! 😱 The ingredient list under the translation sticker was in Dutch and it didn't contain anything that sounded like amphetamine. I searched online for the original list in Chinese and found that it says 苯丙氨酸 which is Phenylalanine (an amino acid) but the translator probably only translated 苯丙氨 which is amphetamine.Whatever it is, 話梅 is indeed addictive! 😆

Never felt sleepy after amphetamine based drugs kick in but modafinil made me fall asleep.....
