A cause de la particularité de l’histoire soudanaise traversée par les guerres, les révolutions et les dictatures, il est impossible de dissocier la politique de la vie quotidienne. Ainsi, tous les films soudanais parlent du contexte politique, que ce soit de manière explicite ou de manière subtile. En partenariat avec le collectif Bassines Non Merci 86 des tirages avaient été vendu pour la caisse de solidarité. Leurs affiches sont apparues du jour au lendemain dans les rues du quartier artistique new-yorkais de SoHo ciblant nominalement des artistes, des galeristes et des musées. Au fil des ans, leur champ d’action s’est élargi à d’autres domaines d’inégalité au-delà du seul domaine de l’art.
