clacke: exhausted pixie dream boy 🇸🇪🇭🇰💙💛I watched a youtube upload of "Home Movie: The Princess Bride". Some of the actors were really good, some went the extra mile and made some hilarious interpretations or choices of props and environment, but the whole wasn't nearly as interesting and creative as "Shrek Retold".I did enjoy it, and what I liked about it was that even in this version with no director, no costume department, no scenery, you can still see how great the script and dialogue is, it shines through. Now I want to watch the original again.One thing that really got me was at the end when Rob Reiner, the original director, played the boy, and his father Carl Reiner played the grandpa.The boy says, will you come back tomorrow and read it again, and grandpa says "as you wish", winks, and exits the room.
