Eugene Alvin Villar 🇵🇭<p>I very much agree with <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://en.osm.town/@simon" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>simon</span></a></span>’s observation: <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fosstodon.org/@developmentseed" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>developmentseed</span></a></span> uses a lot of <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://en.osm.town/@openstreetmap" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>openstreetmap</span></a></span> data in their projects (heck, their profile states “winning with open data” and their offshoot company <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/Mapbox" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Mapbox</span></a> was built on OSM), but <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/DevelopmentSeed" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DevelopmentSeed</span></a> chose to become a Contributor Member of <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/OvertureMaps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OvertureMaps</span></a> but notably is *not* a corporate member of the <a href="https://en.osm.town/tags/OpenStreetMap" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>OpenStreetMap</span></a> Foundation.</p><p>I am kinda tired of companies taking OSM for granted.</p>
