Don Trueten :antifa:<p>2/2 </p><p>Das iranische <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Atomabkommen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atomabkommen</span></a> von 2015 war ein Sieg der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Diplomatie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Diplomatie</span></a>, wurde aber von Israel als "<a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Charmeoffensive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Charmeoffensive</span></a>" dargestellt, die die wahren Ambitionen des Irans verschleiern sollte. Die israelische Regierung war entschlossen, ein Tauwetter in den Beziehungen zwischen dem Iran und dem Westen und die Möglichkeit einer anderen Vision für den Nahen Osten zu verhindern, die Israels Möglichkeiten zur Aufrechterhaltung seiner Politik gegenüber den Palästinensern einschränken könnte.</p><p>Nachdem Donald <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Trump" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Trump</span></a> zum Präsidenten gewählt wurde, kündigte er in seinem <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Obskurantismus" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Obskurantismus</span></a> und seiner Ignoranz das <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Abkommen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Abkommen</span></a> auf und signalisierte dem Iran, dass er in den Vereinigten Staaten oder sogar in Europa - wo die amerikanischen Sanktionen eine wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit Europas mit dem Iran verhindern - keinen Partner hat. Im Gegenzug beschleunigte der Iran sein <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Atomprojekt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Atomprojekt</span></a> in einer Weise, die unter dem Abkommen nicht möglich gewesen wäre.</p><p>Dies trug zur Wahl von Präsident Ebrahim <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Raisi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Raisi</span></a> im Jahr 2021 bei, dessen Wahlkampf den gescheiterten Versuch der Diplomatie mit dem Westen betonte. Doch auch unter Raisi gab es Kontakte zwischen den Vereinigten Staaten und dem Iran, die ein langfristiges diplomatisches Potenzial hatten. Dann kam der Amtsantritt von Pezeshkian - und nur wenige Stunden später die Ermordung von Ismail Haniyeh in Teheran.</p><p>Auf Eskalation drängen<br>Im Gegensatz zu dem Bild, das Israel und seine Verbündeten zeichnen, ist der Iran ein rationaler Akteur. Er ist ein Land mit nationalen und internationalen Interessen, und er setzt viele Mittel ein, um diese zu erreichen: interne Unterdrückung, Verbindungen zu <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Milizen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Milizen</span></a> und nichtstaatlichen Akteuren in der gesamten Region sowie verschiedene Hilfs- und Unterstützungsunternehmen. Wenn eine Strategie versagt, geht der Iran zu einer anderen über.</p><p>Der Iran kann überleben und eine gewinnbringende Zusammenarbeit mit Russland und <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/China" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>China</span></a> genießen. Aber sein bevorzugter Weg zur Wiederherstellung seines regionalen und internationalen Ansehens ist die Wiederherstellung der Beziehungen zum Westen. Wann immer der Iran vor der Wahl stand, entweder die Beziehungen zu Russland und China auszubauen oder ein Abkommen mit den Vereinigten Staaten und dem Westen zu schließen, entschied er sich für Letzteres.</p><p>Die Ermordung Haniyehs in Teheran sollte den Iran zu einer Reaktion und vielleicht zu einer <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Eskalation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Eskalation</span></a> der <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Feindseligkeiten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Feindseligkeiten</span></a> veranlassen, um schließlich den von Israel ersehnten regionalen <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Krieg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Krieg</span></a> herbeizuführen. Pezeshkian musste sich an seinem ersten Tag im Amt entscheiden, ob er das Programm, mit dem er gewählt wurde, aufgeben und sich in einen Krieg hineinziehen lassen wollte, der vor allem seinen Gegnern im Iran (insbesondere dem konservativen <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Establishment" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Establishment</span></a> des Regimes) gefallen würde, oder ob er seinen ursprünglichen Kurs beibehalten wollte.</p><p>Es ist sehr gut möglich, dass Peschkian den Ruf des Irans gegenüber den <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Pal%C3%A4stinensern" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Palästinensern</span></a>, insbesondere der Hamas, verteidigen und seine Unterstützung für die Gruppe vielleicht ausbauen muss. Während Israels Sicherheitsdienste also bewiesen haben, dass sie einen Hamas-Führer in einem Hotelzimmer im Herzen Teherans ermorden können, haben sie es versäumt, Millionen israelischer <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Zivilisten" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Zivilisten</span></a> zu schützen.</p><p>Einige Tage nach dem <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Attentat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Attentat</span></a> bekräftigten mehrere Beamte aus Peschkians Verwaltung, dass sich die Prioritäten des derzeitigen Präsidenten weiterhin auf innenpolitische Fragen, insbesondere die iranische Wirtschaft, konzentrieren. Der iranische Außenminister gab sogar zu Protokoll, dass die Islamische Republik ihre Reaktion zurückhalten würde, wenn Israel einem <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Waffenstillstand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Waffenstillstand</span></a> im <a href="https://mastodon.trueten.de/tags/Gazastreifen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Gazastreifen</span></a> zustimmt - eine Botschaft, die in den letzten Tagen von der iranischen UN-Delegation wiederholt wurde.
