Emoryit's a good thing i consider it a badge of honor to serial console a network switch, because i'm consoling a switch again. also i don't want to impact airflow but my 10/40GbE switch is a bit, lets say, vocal, and my <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/householdIT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#householdIT</a> cabinet is about 15' from my desk on the other side of my <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/householdAV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#householdAV</a> and i will not be spending thousands of dollars to roll it all into the utility room or anything, not at this house.

Emoryi got tired of hearing about how great linux gaming is outside of steamdeck so i got a 4TB NVME drive (Crucial is very affordable at that capacity and I can't use 2TB anymore) and i pulled my win11 disks that use bitlocker, and swapped out a SATA SSD i can cable up inside the enclosure and moved a lower cap one to a little ventilated 2.5mm SATA JBOD i use. \o/so i am installing <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/bazzite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bazzite</a> with nvidia flavored KDE. if it works for my needs i'll start newfsing everything to <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/zfs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#zfs</a> <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/householdIT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#householdIT</a>

Emoryi have a 84505R Liftmaster garage door opener and they've fscked with the MyQ API so much that i can't use <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/HomeKit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#HomeKit</a> via MyQ and need to go with a <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/RATGDO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RATGDO</a> device or similar, but because my opener is a 84505R and therefore has a "yellow learn button" (lol?) i am told i need An Adapter but not what Adapter that might be.this is the hanging chad of my <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/householdIT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#householdIT</a> that persists and i am determined to figure it out without buying a new opener. and you can help! if you have any ideas lmk 🙏 <a href="https://soc.kvet.ch/tags/iot" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#iot</a> guh
