AdeptVeritatis<p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/pwvideomix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwvideomix</span></a></p><p>Deleted the binaries from the code repository. They are stored in the package registry now. But the old commits have changed in the process.</p><p>To be back in sync, you have to delete the old repository and clone a fresh one with 'git clone <a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVeritatis/pw-videomix.git" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVe</span><span class="invisible">ritatis/pw-videomix.git</span></a>'.</p>
AdeptVeritatis<p>Next step taken for pw-videomix (a video mixer/synthesizer) :ablobcatrave: </p><p>After a lot of work, you can save and load (parts of) your projects now. 💾</p><p>The color mixer and the control nodes are already done. ✅<br>But no other nodes and no connections.</p><p>For me, this is a major advance in creating a usable piece of technology.</p><p>!caution! Loading overwrites all existing control and filter nodes at the moment.</p><p><a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVeritatis/pw-videomix" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVe</span><span class="invisible">ritatis/pw-videomix</span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/pwvideomix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwvideomix</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/rustlang" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rustlang</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/vulkan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vulkan</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/egui" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>egui</span></a></p>
AdeptVeritatis<p>You can save directly into a video file sink now in <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/pwVideoMix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwVideoMix</span></a>. </p><p>Many frames seem to be lost (~30%). But overall quality is good. And the rest of the menu seems quite reasonable.</p><p>Pushed the code to the repository including compiled binaries. But unfortunately, it doesn't cross-compile for Windows. :mastozany: </p><p>A longer post will follow tomorrow.</p><p><a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVeritatis/pw-videomix" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVe</span><span class="invisible">ritatis/pw-videomix</span></a></p>
AdeptVeritatis<p>The MIDI input for my video mixer / synthesizer app works better than I would have dreamt of. The <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/midir" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>midir</span></a> library allowed for a clean integration into my existing project.<br>Now knobs, sliders and buttons can be bound to almost any value in the options panels.</p><p>And I fixed the tiling in the <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/kaleidoscope" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kaleidoscope</span></a> filter for p1 symmetry.<br>To add more symmetries, I need to be in the proper mood, then it can be a joy. Otherwise it is just pain.</p><p><a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVeritatis/pw-videomix" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVe</span><span class="invisible">ritatis/pw-videomix</span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/pwvideomix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwvideomix</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/midi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>midi</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/rust" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rust</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/opensource" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>opensource</span></a></p>
AdeptVeritatis<p>Snapshot sequences is done too for <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/pwvideomix" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pwvideomix</span></a>.</p><p>You can select between taking a series of snapshots within a time frame or after certain frames.</p><p>You can even use it, to make snapshots of your work for up to every 10 minutes.</p><p>Now I can create animations again with defined frame numbers and convert them to GIFs afterwards.</p><p>Would like to have scaling the output next. But I think, a new version number would fit first after all these changes.</p><p><a href="https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVeritatis/pw-videomix" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">gitlab.freedesktop.org/AdeptVe</span><span class="invisible">ritatis/pw-videomix</span></a></p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Vulkan" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Vulkan</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Egui" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Egui</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/rustlang" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>rustlang</span></a></p>
