However it's awkward IMO because you have to click on the OP's reply button to be able to quote that OP. This is bad design imho as replies and quotes are supposed to be two different things; a <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/quote" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#quote</a> is much closer to a <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/boost" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#boost</a>. It's not just because I'm used to Misskey putting the option into the <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/renote" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#renote</a> / boost button, it also just logically makes more sense as you're putting it into your own timeline and you intend for people to see the post you're quoting. :sagume_think: <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/Akkoma" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Akkoma</a> too supports quote boosting; it has its own button in the UI. Kinda like <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/Firefish" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Firefish</a> and its forks (as well as <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/Sharkey" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Sharkey</a>). :cirno_fumo_yes: I have no idea about <a href="https://makai.chaotic.ninja/tags/Rebased;" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Rebased;</a> never used it. :cirnoShrug:
