I'm actually legitimately furious at Disney's portrayal of Pleakley as just a generic male tourist as a disguise instead of putting him in drag. I already wasn't going to see this live action Lilo & Stitch affront to everything good in the world, but man, they hit bedrock and decided to dig down to hell with this bad boy. :babyrawr:

The live action Jumba and Pleakley vs the original cartoon, where the live action is two touristy looking white guys while the cartoon is Jumba dressed in a terrible dad disguise and Pleakley dressed as a woman with hoop earrings, a dress, a sun hat, wearing makeup.

Well, I can't #Doomscroll anymore for various reasons, but I can still #Stitch! So that's why I've been significantly more quiet on here lately. I've been working on re-stitching the projects in "Basic Cross Quilting" so I can *hopefully* do instructional videos for each project. (1)

A cross stitch project in progress entitled "Military Patchwork Prayer Cloth" is the main focus in the picture. It has black and tan sergeant stripes in the middle of the piece. Other areas have stars (which will be white once finished) surrounded by olive green colors. Another section has a camouflage section, and still another has light green, tan and darker green alternating stripes. In the background is an embroidery floss bobbin box with several colors of embroidery floss, some cross stitching tools in some of the box's sections and a few other cross stitch projects laying on top of the box that do not yet have all of their backstitch completed.
