Today i decided to take a break from the screen. So for a #SilentSunsday i decided to dive into some good old books Sometimes the best inspiration comes from unexpected places. Any book recommendations that totally sparked your creativity or shifted your perspective lately?
@Omstero "Die verlorene Ehre der Katharina Blum" (The Lost Honour of Katharina Blum by Heinrich Böll) was a really good, short book I read recently.
It's a really cleverly written German literary classic from 1974 about how sensationalist tabloid reporting (in the style of The Sun or, in this case, BILD) can ruin innocent, imperfect lives and lead to violence.
It was a blast to read, particularly also because of the writing style and wit. No idea if the English translations are good though.
