Queer.af mastodon instance has been shut down by the Taliban (not a joke, they seized the domain name).
@GossiTheDog what now? I'm assuming the website itself isn't hosted in Afghanistan, so can they just go live again under a different URL?

@thelettuceman @GossiTheDog yes they l've gone under a different domain, and the servers are still up, just not resolving to queer dot af. if one runs a public DNS server, an override to some other domains could be set.
@GossiTheDog @thelettuceman That's like all users changing their username (since the domain is part of the username) or moving to a new instance; all your followers in other instances would need to follow you again in the new domain.
