Spent time this weekend wrapping up the edge cases around platform collision. Now our hero can collide with blocks on all sides, walk off edges, and jump through platforms.
This tileset is temporary, and doesn’t necessarily represent the look I’m targeting. Just something I ended up with when playing around testing some new tools, and it was quick to cobble together for an environment for testing.
Next steps on the project will be refining physics, and building out additional core mechanics. Think wall jumps, double jumps, ground pound, etc.
