The "Back to Reality" episode from Red Dwarf got me right in the when Kryten explains how to make Lister despair...

When I first watched RedDwarf decades ago I wasn't class-aware. With recent re-watching I've been thinking to myself that Lister is kinda like a class-hero. Advocating for the workers. He teaches Kryten to lie so the mechanoid can rise over authority, for example.
