The setup is a bit janky, with a lot of analog to HDMI cables all mixed together, but being able to stream and play games on my childhood Symphonic TV VHS combo brings me so much joy
@doomski I'm a simple guy. I see Earthbound, I give a LIKE.
@dfx such a gem, and exactly what I needed given the state of the world
@doomski That's so cool! I love a bit of #crtgaming. You just can't beat that glow.
@bill 100%, I feel this so much at the arcade with any title that used vector graphics .... screen burn drawbacks aside hahaha
@doomski sounds like you’re using an RCA to HDMI adapter to a capture card, then an HDMI to RCA converter to go back to the TV. Have you noticed any input lag? I’ve always been leery of doing this
@Oregon_Pacifist my bad, I meant to post how I was doing it. I use this Usb-C to HDMI little hub by QGeeM (instead of the dock-saves space) that hooks up to the switch, accepts the power supply, and is the initial point of contact for the HDMI cable. I then connect the HDMI cable to this little HDMI to AV output box, and then hook those cables up to my TV. No issues with input lag
