@ktoddbrown @jalict I was considering visiting friends in the US and bikepacking the NE. Sadly, I'm not sure I'm comfortable with this anymore given the state of things. Maybe in four years or so. I'll keep this for inspiration for sure, as I want to tour the west coast as well, some day.

Oh, I had thought of adding a second stem+cut-off handlebar, just like in his drop bars picture :)
@NNN I had one of those extended handlebars for some time. Really bad mount points so it kept sliding down Was a nice addition for gadgets, lights etc.
