- 01 - Started a new playthrough of Freedom Unite. I rolled a random weapon and got Hunting Horn, which I’ve never really pursued in MH before. I’m playing with the FU Complete mod, that includes an optional HH tweak that I’m going to use. Go check out the mod! fucomplete.github.io

• Hunting Horn Tweaks rework the weapon slightly to make it more approachable and rebuff it back to P2/F2 levels. (CONFIG • Note mechanics work similar to Frontier, where notes only clear if you sheath your weapon or have a forced sheathed interaction. • Left and right swing MV/KO values increased to match P2/F2 values. 31 MV and 18 KO, up from 27 MV and 15 KO. Hilt jab poke attack now does cutting damage instead of impact.

- 02 -🤣I took the base HH against a congalala with no whetstones and no steaks. 40 mins in with red sharpness, no stamina, and an already missed trap, the triple cart came for me. I guess I need to get good, come prepared, and get better equipped.

- 03 - Check out the HD textures + Stories styled monsters. I had only a few mins to play today, so I took down bulldrome for a giant bone to upgrade the hh.

- 04 - Took down the congalala w/ a few no HUD screenshots. The charge and flame breath can hit like a truck if you haven't done anything with your armor yet.

- 05 - I was hoping to blitz through village 2*, but I NEED some sonic bombs for the liver of legend quest to be bearable. Going to try a couple velocidrome + a couple kut ku to see what quests gives them faster.

- 06 - NOT EVEN CLOSE. I got like 2 screamers from 2 velocidrome and 4 sonics 6 screamers from 2 kut ku. ALSO the war drums horn has SUPERSONIC WAVES that I can totally use on cephalos! related, I haven't farmed nitroshrooms and can't even make gunpowder yet so the screamers are useless 🤠

- 06 - and to cap it off, I didn't use ANY sonic bombs to get the piscine livers 😅 cephalos either popped out on their own or the supersonic hunting horn waves got them. Next fight is Khezu!

- 07 - Khezu and Daimyo defeated! Khezu is always a bit of a tough fight but daimyo was no problem. It looks like gypceros and blangonga are next.

- 08 - Gypceros was a pain. The swamp isn't that great of an area and it ran away or did it's 'round the world' run around the perimeter of the area. I broke the crest tho, which was my main goal going in
