Just a reminder that every proprietary tool can eventually pull off something similar to what Unity did. That is not to say that we should never use any proprietary tools, but being mentally prepared to switch to alternatives sounds like a good idea. Never get too attached to your tool. Now, when a company forces its terms retroactively, I just hope it's outright illegal in any normal country and that any court would obliterate the company for doing it. Fuck anyone who defends that. #unity
